In addition to the provision of all the galvanised and Flameshield fire rated ductwork E&S Heating & Ventilation were responsible for the co-ordination and final plant selection and procurement of the associated ventilation equipment, provision of thermal insulation and commissioning. The project team had to manage the significant security and delivery issues of working on the Olympic Park along with the additional security measures included in the design to protect VIP’s, athletes and the general public during the games. E&S Heating & Ventilation Ltd were consequently Imtech Meica’s domestic subcontractor (working for Balfour Beatty) for the adaptation of the ventilation services to suit the stadium’s new use as West Ham Football Club’s home ground.
