E&S Heating & Ventilation Ltd were contracted to provide galvanised and Flameshield fire rated ductwork for this new build media centre on the Olympic Park in Stratford. The building incorporated a large number of modules, constructed off site where ductwork was installed by ourselves working alongside the module manufacturers. The building was designed to cater for the large number of international journalists and the associated TV crews who used the facilities as a 24-hour media hub for the estimated four billion viewers. After the games the centre was reinvented as Here East, a dedicated technology campus that has 3,800 people working and studying on site.
