Work experience at E&S

Whenever possible we like to offer Year 10 students the chance to come to our Hailsham based factory and offices and learn more about working in the construction industry. Ahead of making decisions about their post-16 education, it’s the ideal time to help them discover opportunities they might not have previously considered. Despite the pandemic we welcomed George, a Year 10 student from Peacehaven Community School. George spent the day shadowing one of our digital engineering experts Declan and enjoyed learning about how Autodesk is used to design a run of ductwork. George said “It was brilliant to find out about something completely new and the software I got to try out was so clever. I’d never thought about all of the different aspects of a manufacturing business before and I’m now hoping to do Business Studies A Level at Varndean”.
