Outstanding Response to Pandemic

When the world turned upside down in 2020 and the UK entered its first national lockdown, E&S faced the challenge of transforming all our operations to meet COVID safe working practices. For a diverse team that at any one time are working across multiple construction sites, the factory floor and our contracting and design office, this required a huge amount of change in a very short space of time. Together we’ve navigated school closures, work from home, furlough, social distancing, self-isolation and the inevitable project delays. I’m delighted to share that by the end of 2021 an impressive 96% of our workforce were vaccinated, protecting our families, our community and the business itself. Your ongoing commitment to delivering excellence despite facing such unprecedented challenges has been remarkable. I cannot thank you all enough for your adaptability and determination – you have ensured that we’ve come through the worst of the pandemic with a positive 2022 ahead.
