The refurbishment of Northcliffe House, a Grade II listed building in the Whitefriars Conservation Area, will transform the former home of the Daily Mail newspaper’s Art Deco former offices and printing presses into a post COVID flexible workspace. Located right in the heart of the Fleet Street Business Development District, it’s hoped the project will act as a catalyst to attract other businesses to the area. The listed Art Deco elevations and the brick and stone Victorian façade will be cleaned and repaired but remain unchanged. The project will restore this iconic building to its former glory while also extending it with 2 extra floors. The 25,000 sq m project will include an impressive 9,000 sq ft of green space with south-facing roof terraces on levels six and seven.
The fit out package is includes the installation of a ring main, fan coil unit installation, c/w secondary ductwork and linear diffuser installation.
